Hï!I took the train from Zürich Mainstation to Lucerne then transfer from Lucerne to Engelberg.Check out this website www.sbb.ch/en

Maybe you're confused with the Uetliberg, which is Zürich's "house mountain", and which can be reached with the S-Bahn (you need line S10 in this case). The S-Bahn is what Zürich has in stead of a Metro.
Engelberg is a town in canton Obwalden, about two hours from Zürich.
