We are renting a car in Tahiti and trying to decide on unlimited miles or pay by the kilometer. Can you give us an idea of the miles one might drive from Pape'ete around the island ? We will have a full day as we fly home at
10:00 pm. Thanks for the info. |

I do believe renting a car here is by the hour or per day. And they expect you to fill the car up before returning it. I am not sure on how many miles but I know it can take you 1/2 hours to go completly around the island. Depending on how many stops you make.

the circle island takes about 2 hours. If you start in the the morning, people are going to work in Papeete so it's a good idea to avoid traffic time and to start from Faaa-Punauuia-Paea, etc.. and end to Papeete.
I believe rental cars receive unlimited mileage but i'm not sure. best of luck manurere2000
