My husband and I are arriving in Santiago Feb 16 at 9:50 AM and would like to share transportation to Valparaiso, where we're boarding the "Rotterdam".

just take a bus..its easy and cheap..take a train to the depot and the bus will drop you off at the valparaiso depot..then walk or catch a taxi..jeff

Would it be a problem to take the bus to Valparaiso prior to a cruise because of the amount of luggage one needs for a cruise?

I'm doing the same thing as you (fly into SCL and transfer to a cruise ship in Valparaiso). What did you end up doing? The "two bus and cab" option or did you find another way to get there. What did it end up costing, including the cab from the Valparaiso bus station to the cruiseport? Thanks
