Yes, the Medina Azahara is open. We are going to visit it in May. You can get information on line at the Cordoba Turismo. There is also a bus that leaves from Cordoba and takes you to the Medina and back for 5 Euros. You can make reservations for the bus by using the link on the Turismo site.
