Has anyone traveled on the Banja Luka -Belgrade night train? I heard it leaves daily Banja Luka at 9:00pm.But what time does it get into Belgrade? I also heard the train is quite empty.Any particular reasons for this? Thanks for any info.

There is no need to travel by train from Banja Luka to Belgrade. There are two trains a day: one early in the morning and the other at about 22:00 hrs. The trip by train takes a little over nine hours (if the trains are running according to the schedule, which is almost never the case), whereas if you take a regular bus via Croatia, it takes only about 4,5 houras to get to Belgrade.
