Victoria Falls Travel Forum

Just wondering if there are some reasonably priced places to eat at near the Victoria Falls Hotel. We wil be staying there for 3 nights but assume it will be very expensive to eat meals there. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. :)

We were there in 2005 and ate at both In-da-Belly based it the rest camp - good value food very laid back atmosphere. http://www.vicfallsrestcamp.com/Dining/dining.htm

We also ate at the Kingdom Hotel on our last night there in the large buffet restaurant. This was more expensive but still very reasonable in real terms. Personally just struggled a bit to come to terms with eating in a place like that when just outside there are people living in such poverty.

There is (was in 10-05) a hamburger place, (Wimpies maybe- horrible, and expensive- not worth the $$) Mama Africa's is just up towards the little shopping area. The food and nightlife are said to be very good.
