Right now Afghanistan is in the news again and they say, a big attack on the Taliban fighters in the South of the country is prepared. I wonder what the situation actually is at the moment for persons like us - travelers.
Are all parts of the country no-go areas or are there still some safe places? And are travelers welcome at all or is there an attitude against foreigners? So did anybody lately go there and can tell a bit? I'm sure many people would appreciate comments on this topic. |
