A friend and I are planning on taking the Balkan rail from Istanbul to Skopje, Macedonia during a trip we are taking in June. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for us or knew how long we should expect this to take?
We are then planning on traveling from Skopje to Greece (in order to take a ferry to Italy). So, I was wondering the same thing, any tips for the train or know how long that trip could take us? Even simply from Skopje to the border? Thank you! |

bus train ferry information ( www.idos.cz ) for the page in english click on the uk/british flag. good also to have incase you need to take a flight home or someplace ( www.whichbudget ) (www.itasoftware.com )
