We are a group of 14 student in a outdoor shcool here in Quebec and we are planning a trip to Huaraz region in april. We want to know if it is possible to rent raft in the city or near. If yes, where?

whoaa, let me see in huaraz there´s a lot of rafting and they rent raft in many places in or near the city so u won´t have no problem, i´m planning to go there to so maybe we might gather to have fun and i might be so helpful to you so we won´t have to spend more than the necessary. contact me if needed: pepe_mxpx@hotmail.com

Rafting in spanish is Canotaje, just search by google "canotaje huaraz".

In teh city is a litlle dificult to rent a raft. Huaraz sity is big, i advice you call to the rafting agency before you arrive and they will meet with you.

Another place to do rafting is LUNAHUANA near to Lima (2 hours to Lima), tey have a especial treatment to tourist.
