We will be visiting Colon, Panama by cruise ship for one day in late February, 2007. If possible we would like to make our own shore excursion plans. Any suggestions?

| Colón | RE: One Day in Colon Posted: Mon February 19, 2007 08:33 PM UTC Hi, Depends, if you will dock at Cristobal or Colon2000 dock you can do your own shore excursion but if you will do a Partial Transit and stop in Gatun Lake (Canal area) then you need to use a tour operator. Good lucks,

I would do a tour with a group. Not the safest of cities.
