Hi, I have been researching the option of going to Mt Pilatus in April 2007, but am hoping someone can set me straight.
I visited the http://www.pilatus.ch/ website, which indicated that the cable car will be closed for maintence until November 2007. From what I have read, both on VT and on this same web, the Cog Wheel train doesnt operate in winter between December-May. So If I am visiting in April- what options do I have? Or do I simply not visit the mountain? Can anyone set me straight on this....? Cheers |

Hi!You can still go to Pilatus by cable car not by the Cogwheel.The note on the website means from 29.October 2007 until 9. November 2007.
"IMPORTANT: operations will cease from 29 October to 9 November 07 for maintenance work."
