| Sirmione | Wedding Sirmione Posted: Fri February 2, 2007 02:29 PM UTC
Hi all,
We are hoping to get married in Sirmione in 2008. We are thinking of having the ceremony in SAnta Maria Della Neve church followed by the reception in Villa Cortine. It mentions the villa is uphill. On the map they are more or less next to each other. Do you know how far they are apart as we may have some elderly guests with difficulty in walking far. Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
from the church to the hotel are less than 500 meters, and the hill you wrote is abt 10 meters high :)) Don't worry about your guests. Giorgio

Thanks Giorgio,
You've put my mind at ease! From your experience do you think this is a good wedding venue? Are you familiar with the area? Can you recommend any other churches and wedding reception hotel/villa's near one another? We are travelling over in May to have a look. We have a planner organising it for us but we could do with more options. Thanks

Hi,
my wedding experience was 30 years ago, but if you are traveling to Sirmione and surrounds I think you can see otehr solutions. I suggest you to look on the web for Verona or other villages in Garda lake zone. Have a nice trip Giorgio
