I will be arriving Guangzhou on 24th Feb morning,we need the following advise:
1. How i may engage a careful driver and transport for 4person to drive us around both GuangZhou and Shenzhen during our 4days stay?
2. Which is a better place to visit the Dapeng Fortress or Hehu New building(in longgang)?
3. If we are travelling on our way to Shenzhen from Guangzhou is it on our way to stop by Dapeng Fortress or Hehu New building before reaching Shenzhen?
4. How much travelling time is needed to travel from Guangzhou to Shenzhen?
5. It is still CNY so will it be crowded? Would it be possible to get tixs on the day itself to Shenzhen or do we need to pre-book due to the festive season?
6. Would travelling by train faster than travelling by car/van?

Dapeng Peninsula is in the far eastern area of Shenzhen and not really on the route from Guangzhou. Dapeng Fortress is more interesting than Hehu, tranport will be a nighmare due to CNY, if you do not have local help. Enjoy!

Thank you for your advise.
One thing i'm confuse, Solomon2000 mentioned that Longgang is in the middle of Guangzhou to Shenzhen ,so it is ok to stop when you leave for Shenzhen while you mentioned that its Far Eastern side of Shenzhen which is not really enroute to Shenzhen...hmmm...who's right?

Solomon2000, could you provide the car-renting company details to me?
I need a car and careful driver to pick us(4adults with luggages) up from Guangzhou airport to Shenzhen hotel. How much is it?
How long is the journey? Will there be bad traffic jam on the road?

I would also like to ask if i travel back from Shenzhen to Guangzhou(26th morning still CNY) via the express train, do i need to pre-book or i can just purchase on the day itself?

Longgang is northeast of shenzhen.
26th still CNY,but chinese have begined work.So,I think you don't need pe-book
express train ticket.you can go to railway station and buy ticket to guangzhou soon.http://www.gooberztravel.com

Am confuse you mentioned that 'there's no airport bus direct to Hotel Landmark Canton.But you can take metro.The station is haizhu plaza.chines is "海珠广场".'
But there's no metro in the airport, so how can i get to the hotel via metro?
If there's no airport bus, that means my only mode of transport to the hotel is Taxi. Any idea how much will that be?

you can take airport bus to guangzhou cityarea.Then you take metro to HOTEL LANDMARK CANTON .
