My husband and will be boarding Bark Europa on 28 February for the 53 day trip to Antarctica, Georgia Islands, Tristan DeCuhna, and disembarking in Cape Town South Africa. I would be interested in conversing with other passengers.
As for packing list, we got a nice one from our travel agent. We plan on packing everything into two duffle bags and carrying a soft backpack for overnight and carry on stuff. We have our "foulies" (wet weather gear), non-cotton long johns, fleece, wool sweaters, etc. I could email our list to others that are interested. |

Hey there,
I am also on this voyage. I am now in Ushuaia, staying at the freestyle hostel. Which is great. There is also another chap who is staying here, who will be on the voyage. I have been trekking around South America for the last 6.5weeks, with a back breaking 25kgs loaded into a backpack, everything from long johns to sailing gear to about 6 pairs of gloves, which were not really required in the tropics!!!! I am on the voyage by my self. Are you in Ushuaia yet? Would like to get in touch if possible. Cheers!!!
