Salamanca Which language school?
Posted: Thu February 1, 2007 02:58 PM UTC
My daughter and I want to study Spanish in Salamanca for two weeks next summer. I've looked at a number of programs. One that stands out for price, class size, AC, free tutoring, etc. is "Espanol Pro". Unfortunately, I have not been able to contact anyone from there via email. Does anyone know anything about this progam? If not, we do need to save money, so we are looking for a good program, but not the most expensive. Any suggestions?

Hi.
I can only recommend what Ive recommended before on the forum - and thats to check out a website Ive used to book Spanish courses before (www.estudia-espana.com). They have several programs in Salamanca and you will pay less by booking your course through them.
I dont know Salamanca personally but its supposed to be really nice. There might actually by cheaper places than that though - especially as its so far from Madrid where I guess youll be flying from.
Have you thought about trying somewhere else? The cheapest Ive ever seen was in Ronda - also on this website.
Hope this helps :)

Salamanca ISLA

Hi,

I've been to ISLA twice in Salamanca and once in Barcelona and can really recommend it. It's not too big, and the admin staff are friendly so say hello to Teresa and Sara if you go there. The teachers are excellent too. A lot of people in my class were there via recommendation from a friend. This is their website: www.academiaisla.es and Teresa's email address is: teresa@academiaisla.com. good luck!
