We're in St Kitts for the World Cup Cricket 22 - 25 March. Are there any cruise ships in Basseterre for those days?

I checked a website called CruiseCal and if I did it right it looks like there will not be any in port. But if I were you I would try it yourself.

We will be in St Kitts on 3/25 on the Celebrity Constellation. Why? I'm curious what it means.

this was a question for last year - we travelled to the West Indies (a long way from Australia) to watch the Aussies win the world cup of cricket. In posting my question I was trying to ensure we avoided the crowds of both world cup travellers and large cruise ships. In the end, it didn't make a lot of difference as there were lots of taxis to take us from the cricket to the hotel. Enjoy St Kitts - it was beautiful!
