I am a teacher from the United States and will only be in Turkey until 20 June 2007. I am looking for a safe, nice, quiet, clean 1-2 bedroom flat with a semi modern bathroom starting in February 2007. I have a little dog, and a bad leg, so I need to be on the ground floor or very close to it.

I will be working in Kizilay so I need to be close; perhaps Dikmen or Sokullu?

in kizilay there are not really many options but as you said you may have look at the places close
dikmen-sokullu:there are mini buses and public buses ordinarilly
mini buses every 5 min public buses everey 15 min but in rush hours there may be teribble traffic jam usually takes 15-20 min to kizilay (0.85 dollar 1 way)
if you take taxi that costs about 5 dollars for a trip
these are locations that could be useful i will put the ones on the subway route

emek (i live very close to emek called bahcelievler but little far from subway)
