hi i am coming to cork on paddy's day weekend with a group of friends and we wanted to know the best places to visit whilst there. we were also thinking of dressing up to make the whole experience a little more fun, how will this go down with the locals?

No personal recommendations for Paddy's day nightlife. The streets will be crowded and after the pubs close, noisy and rowdy and potentially dangerous.
Dressing up?Depends on what you're thinking of dressing up as and whwere you're from. This is a weekend, when fuelled by loads of drink,people become a little more nationalistic than usual.

All the pubs and clubs will be packed on that night so you should be spoiled for choice.

Well I presume ye're gona dress up in Irish themed costumes, so given that it's paddy's day and all, there shouldn't be a problem. Now dressing up as a leprechaun any other day of the year is a different story.....!!!
