There is no war in Severnaya Osetia. It's located in Northen Caucasus but the region is comparatively quiet. Your personal safety will depend on what exactly you are going to do there, what is the purpose of your visit.

As for the visas you should just remember that you are going to Russia and consequently you will need everything that a foreign tourist might need: visa, invitation, registration, hotel etc. The best option would be to ask the closest tourist agency to help with arrangements. It helps when VT users reveal some information about themselves, it's much easier to give an effective advice.

Izwieni moi plohyj ruskij (i latinskie bukwy)- uze mnogo zabyl so shkoly.Nie pisal po anglijsku poetomu shto prijatno kak nibud' dierzat' kontak c jazykom.
