I will be wanting to travel from Ohrid in Macedonia to Berat, by way of public transport, this June. I would like to take the train from Pogradec if possible but I am struggling to work out where to get off for the bus or furgon. Does anyone have any ideas ?

If you like to take the train for fun you can take it from Pogradec to Elbasan, but trains are really slow in Albania, the best thing is to take a minibus from Pogradec to Elbasan and then bus/minibus from Elbasan to Berat. Try to depart relatively early in the morning from Ohrid, so you can do the trip in one day.
Also, I would advice Tomi hotel in Berat if you are going to stay the night.
