Can someone tell me if the ice sculptures will still be standing by Feb 10th or do they knock them all down as part of the festival??? Also. how much is a taxi from the airport to the city (roughly). Thanks

The ice sculptures will be standing there on Feb 10,but they won't be as beautiful as they were.
It will take you about RMB100 from the airport to the downtown. Have a nice trip.

A more realistic gauge for the taxi from Harbin airport to downtown Harbin eg Zhongyang Dajie would be about 110-120 RMB, plus an extra 20 RMB for the highway toll. If the meter goes higher than that (ours went to 170 RMB) then ask the driver to give you a discount. Or, agree on a price (make sure to specify whether the highway toll is included or not) before you start the ride.

How long do the statues stay up? I would love to come see them, but my February break isn't until the 16th of February. Is it still worth trying to schedule a trip?
