I was wondering if anyone has ventured out to these two island off Koh Chang? I am going to Koh Chang, and would like to stay on another island as well. But I have not found alot of feedback about either. And I have no recomendations on where to stay at either island. I know that koh Maak is easier to get to from Koh chang, but can you get to koh kood from koh chang every day of the week,or is it just a few days that they travel there....HELP!

Hi, I believe that there is a daily ferry service so island hopping should be easy. If you go here http://iamkohchang.com/KC_Essentials/a-z.htm and scroll down to O (for other islands )you may get more info. Hope this helps, Barry

Hi, I've been to those islands many years ago. As I remember, they are all beautiful and laid-back, its quiet, still very natural . In Koh kood apart from beach we enjoyed the waterfall too, in Koh Mak we did kayak to small island nearby.

By the time on my trip, there was ferry service to hop around the islands, I now can't really remember the exactly information. We stayed in small place by beach, forgot the name. Many big resorts there usually offer speedboat can pick you from main land or Koh Chang. I think must call them for more info. I've been gathering links about those island review on vt before as I'm planing to return these islands somedays.. Here's some pages I found :

Hi.
If you like peace and quiet and beautiful beach you must go to Koh Kham. There is just one resort there with only 20 or so bungalows. It's adjacent to and very close to Koh Mak. The owner of the resort will take you to Koh Kham by small boat from Koh Mak. Koh Mak is very easy to get to from Koh Chang, by the Thai Fun boat. You can do a stop-over for any number of days at Koh Kham / Koh Mak. Koh Kood is further away, but the owner of the resort that we know will arrange direct speedboat for you from Bang Bao in KC to his resort in Koh Kood.
