Ko Chang Travel Forum

Hello, I am thinking of going to Ko Chang in August. Is the weather good then? Or when would be the best time to go - when is the rain limited.

Generally from June to September is in Low season! its rain season and about monsoon period, by the way you know the weather is unpredictable.

I was In Koh Chang last August, the weather was Ok, It is the wet season, had a few heavy rain showers and electric storms that lasted about 10 minutes then the sun really came out. Its great chilled out island, I stayed at Koh Chang Kacha Resort on white sands beach (West coast of the island), a few minutes walk to the beach bars. i would definetly reccomend the island for getting away from the really commercialised islands like Koh Samui and phuket areas.
Have a great time, sit back, relax with a beer at night and watch the electrical storms in the distance.
