| Palestine | Travelling to West Bank Posted: Thu January 25, 2007 02:23 PM UTC
Is it essential to have a valid Israeli visa (I am from a country that does not have visa exemptions for Israel) in order to travel to Palestine? I am planning on going to the West Bank for summer 2007...is the only way in through Israel?
Thanks, naseem.a |

Hello,
The only way to travel to the West Bank is via an Israeli checkpoint. That means that if you need a visa for Israel you will also need one to travel to the West Bank. George

yes it is. There is no so called palestinian visa. Even if you enter from jordan visa king hussein bridge that leads right into the westbank you will still have to pass through the israeli border where you will need a visa to pass through (depending on your country of origin. either you will have to get a visa beforehand or you get it at the border. but dont ask me too much about this because im unsure about visas)
