Does anyone ever answer the feedback@vtourist.com or is that just for show?

They would probably answere if you used the right adress. @vtourist.com is for member mail. Try feedback@virtualtourist.com

I've had replies (using the virtualtourist address), so 'yes they do' is the answer.

Of course feedback is NOT just for show, how absurd. But they don't answer all the mail unless an answer is totally needed. Not many websites have the webmasters or even staff respond to mail.
Feedback is useful to offer feedback, but doesn't always attract a reply. The logisitics of that is a bit impossible.

Yea, it's a small staff compared to many sites.
But many forget to look for answers in the Help section. Link is up to the right

I personally answer hundreds of emails everyday. And my goal is to answer 100% of emails that require a response. Some don't. What I mean is, if you report an abuse and 25 other people did too...we'll just take care of the abuse quickly instead of replying to 25 people about the same thing.

It's silly though to write to the incorrect email and then get mad ;-) But it's cool, we cleared it up!
