I'm looking for local bus timetables available on the web for journeys between Benevento and Grottaminarda - any ideas?

After much looking, I have finally found this at http://www.marozzivt.it/ (all in Italian). This is the website for the Marozzi bus company.

bus 1004 leaves Benevento at 02:40 (yes, 2:40 am) and arrives in Grottaminarda at 03:15.

bus 1629 leaves Benevento at 10:10 and arrives in Grottaminarda at 10:45.

bus 717 leaves Benevento at 13:40 and arrives at Grottaminarda at 14:15.

Note that all these buses are really long distance buses that just happen to pass through (hence the odd hours).

Oddly enough, the usual Italian bus websites that do bus routing don't think that anything connects these two towns...and the closest train station to Grottaminarda is Ariano Irpino (and I'm having trouble finding buses that go between here and Grottasminarda as well).

VMT, I did find the Marozzi site but it wasn't very helpful. I'll follow up your leads later this evening. My real challenge is to use buses in and around Grotta and to get back to Benevento on a Sunday morning to catch the Eurostar to Rome Termini? The other option is to travel slightly earlier to Avellino by Bus and catch a train to Benevento.
There must be local bus operators in and around the Avellino region.

Hmmmn, well, the Marozzi site isn't going to help much going from Grottaminarda to Benevento on a Sunday morning. We have a bus leaving at 03:15 and arriving at 03:40, and the other three leave at 10:45, 15:15, and 19:15...I assume you are trying to take the 09:58 Eurostar from Benevento to Rome Termini, so these would be too late.

Well, I suppose you could look for a bus all the way to Rome, or take a later train to Rome, and consider moving the night before...but it sounds like you are already considering all these options...
