Hello,
I am planning to go to Vietnam August/September this year, with 3 nights in HCMC then 3 nights to Angkor Wat and back to HCMC. Can anyone please tell me what will be the best way to get to Hoi An and back from HCMC? Also has anyone got any feedback on Ancient House Resort?? Thanks in advance. Caron |

You can fly on VN Airlines for $53 o/w to Danang. From there, it's a 45 minute cab or bus ride to Hoi An. That would be the best way for me. You can also take a bus or train, but these take a lot of time.

as nitnoy says -go with the plane & catch a cab (deal on the fee first then ride) and if you can go over the mountain for the view but if its cloudy save an hour or two and take the tunnel
the plane in VN make for a good trip with few hassles just check the flight time the day before and on the day. enjoy Don

You only need to travel over Hai Van Pass (or through the tunnel) if you're coming from Hue. Danang is a straight shot down the coast.
