Haarlem Any apartment rentals in the area?
Posted: Mon January 22, 2007 01:36 AM UTC
I am planning on going to Amsterdam/ Haarlem this coming July and August. We will be there for about 3 weeks. Are there any rental agencies for vacation houses or apartments/ Even if there are rental barges, or boats that would be great. There are 3 of us going to watch my son play baseball in the friendship games. Thanks

May I suggest you take a look a little further West to the village of Zandvoort.

It's at the Northsea coast, so you have a beach closeby.

Accomodations see:

The Hotel Joops in Haarlem has apartments. B&B Paula on the west side of Haarlem is a single apartment.

Zandvoort has a lot of rooms for rent with the German "Zimmer Frei" posted. They are cheap but most of these do not serve breakfast nor have a kitchen available to guests. Also, Zandvoort is very popular in the summer and traffic on the two roads into town can be stiffling jams. It is faster to ride a bike from Zandvoort to Haarlem than a car at rush hour. Parking is also a problem in Zandvoort in the summer.
