What is the best way to get from Panajachel to Livingston, and how quickly do you think I could realistically do that?
Thanks! |

Hello there: I suggest you go to www.passplanet.com/guatemala to get more information on how to get to different places in guatemala. The best way in my opinion would be to get back to guatemala and take an overnight deluxe service bus to rio dulce www.litegua.com or www.adnautobusesdelnorte.com or linea dorada www.tikalmayanworld.com. Believe it or not, its better to take the overnight bus because, due to construction work around the city it is a nightname to get out of town. Traffic is very congested during the day. So, your bus could be stuck in traffic for hours. Otherwise you could go around from Panajachel to Quiche from there to Coban and then Rio Dulce. It is doable, safe and not all that complicated, but you will have to connect with different chicken buses or mini-buses. Good luck.
