Am single and scheduled to visit Novosibirsk during first week of March
Planning my hotel booking.. Which is the best hotel? Which are the best places for shopping? Is english widely spoken? and english newspapers, magazines available. Any nice lady or travel mate who WLTM welcome. |

Yes i guess that hotel Sibir is called Intourist Sibir..right

No English here. I've been working as an English teacher in Novosibirsk for about a year and a half and the only people I've met who speak English are my students (I teach adults in advanced level). It's not like in Europe, where you can find English-speakers almost everywhere. Not such thing here. However, people are always excited to meet a foreigner and will probably go out of their way to help you, even if they don't speak a word of English.
