I was interested to see the earlier questions and answers about this as I am interested for travel in March. I checked on the internet for this information, but my flight arrives around 20:00 and I did not think I could make it for the last train or bus from Krakow to Zakopane which seemed to leave at 20:30. Someone tells me that these are the main forms of transport but there are other bus companies that operate later - could someone advise me if this is correct and direct me perhaps to some timetables so I can see what the latest time of departure is and cost. Thank you.

A taxi would take two hours+ so you would get to Zakopane in the early hours.

I would check into a cheap hotel in Krakow for the night, have a few drinks and hot meal and shower etc.

Depending upon how many of you are travelling, A-T-S will do a private trandsfer to Zakopane, so do another company called ski-shuttle.eu. If there are a few of you it may be worth checking it out! We are travelling from Krakow to Zakpane in March and having similar probems ...
