How can you get from skye to ullapool by not goin through lewis?

You would have to make your way up to Mallaig and there is a short ferry crossing to Armadale on Skye. You really wouldn't want to go via Lewis unless you want to spend a week and a fortune on ferries, bit of a roundabout way to go. There is also a bridge across further north at Kyle of Lochalsh.

How will you be traveling? Hire car or trains and buses?
