I am travelling to Tanzania next week, going on Safari in Selous and then onto Zanzibar. We are spending 2 nights in Stone Town and then 4 nights on the beach. Which location is best to stay at for the beach part of the holiday Nungwi or Jambiani? I keep getting mixed reviews. Ideally I don't want to have to walk miles to get into the sea. I'd also like to go diving when there so want somewhere with reputable dive centre. Any advice appreciated.

Hi!
Nungwi is better then Jambiani, only beach when low tide. Kendwa much better and Paje, Bwejuu and further north of Bwejuu even better beach. Joerg
