I'm thinking of retiring to Bukidnon province in a couple of years because i have met someone there! :) As an American, why would I want to live there? I don't need luxury! I live a simple life, love nature, gardening, music. Is it silly of me to think I could be happy there? Would love a climate neither too hot or too cold as here in the NE. Love to hear your thoughts!

The soil is rich in Bukidnon and you'll have a beautiful garden and all the fruits you can eat! Multinational companies own farms there so security will not be much of a problem. People are friendly there and you'll have a world-reknowned choral group living in the vicinity. Gosh! I envy you!
