From Gent Sint Pieters railway station take tram no. 1 into town and get off at the Korenmarkt (you can use Macdonalds as a landmark..). Walk back a little in the direction the tram was coming from and cross the road on your left, the belfry will be right in front of you (beginning of Belfortstraat). The Ghent Tourist Office is in the crypt of the belfry, entrance is around the left-hand side if you are coming from Korenmarkt, official address is Botermarkt 17A, 9000 Gent, tel 09/266 5232.
