Hello Psotnik,
I already drunk the ayahuaska and had the visions it gives.
I did not cured because I was not ill and I do not confirm it will cure.
I only know there are healers that say to be able to cure.
The only thing I can do is give you the adresse where you can drink the ayahuasca without danger and without spending a lot of money.
The place is along the river Purus in Brasil.
So, send me a message if you are intersted and want to go there.
I am going there in Juin this year on an expedition (see: www.bloggen.be/erico)
and will inform my friend-guide about your visit.
He is one of the family that adept the ayahuaska religion and will take you to his home. The trip is about one day on the river Purus.
I will give you the instructions where to meet him and what to take (food) with you.
You can stay there the days you want and it will cost you about 40 euro a day for food, gasoline, engines and guide.
Of course, when you are twice, than the cost will be less per person.

Hello. In reference to Ericos post. I am actually going to visit these rubber tree workers on the river purus in late June this year.

Im going to meet up with the guide thanks to Ericos help who will take me on the journey to spend a few nights with his family and embark in the Ayahuasca ritual.

I have seen documentries on the healing properties of ayahuasca, but having never tried it myself I can not say about curing illness. However Im a great believer that it will create deeper insight of self in which can assist you with spiritual growth thus increase your intuition to self healing.

First question is, when are you planing on visiting the Amazon. Im going to meet up with the guide some time around the 25th of June. I shall be making my way there from Manaus to Boca De Acre via Rio Branco.

I want to fly from Manaus to Rio Branco and then catch a bus to Boca De Acre. Ofcourse you can catch a boat from Manaus down the Purus but it will take approx 7 days to do this. Because Im going to be spending many days on a boat as Im also taking a 15 day trip on a different river, I wish not to boat from Manaus.

Im looking for others seeking and keen on going on this adventure to lower the cost of the trip. I plan to spend the obvious 3 days travelling on the river purus and then another 4 days with the people making it all up 7 days.

You are more than welcome to bring yourself and your friend along with me if this time is ok with you. We could meet in either Manaus, Rio Branco or Boca De Acre if you like and will be heading off no later than the 26th of June.

I do not speak Portugese either, but Ericos will be telling the guides exactly my plans and then all I have to do or we if you choose to come along is meet the guide and then go with the flow.

At its completion we can go our seperate ways but if your interested in meeting a couple of Indian groups and adventuring into the jungle, your also more than welcome to come along on the 15 day journey as well.

Look forward to hearing from you. You can email me on here or just reply to this post or contact me on the___gecko@hotmail.com

All the best with it.

There is a place in Venezuela known as "Sorte" or "La Montaña de Sorte" (Sorte´s Mountain). It is well-known among Venezuelan people and others for being a hotspot of wizardry and magic. Its origins date back to the time when an African tribe, the Yorubas, emmigrated from Ife, Nigeria and settled down there bringing with them their religious practices. Nowadays, these ancient practices come forth in the form of Santeria.

Santeria takes in a whole range of divinities (Olodumare, Olofi, Olorum) , magic formulae, priests (Babalawo) and rites (Bata, drumming), etc.
Many have witnessed these rites and many have gone through them asserting the healing properties of Santeria practice.

Many believe, also, in the miraculous healing powers of the late Dr. José Gregorio Hernández. The legend of him is that of a dedicated physician dead tragically, who after death intervened in many a surgery, in many a terminal case achieving supernatural cure. You have to pray faithfully, though, usually following simple formulae. José Gregorio Hernández is famous, having many true believers in Venezuela; ironically, he has never been canonized.

There are plenty of practices around, all aimed at restoring health, acquiring wealth and peace of mind. The main aspect of those being the ardent faith on the side of the practitioner.

You might want to consider Sorte as a stop in your journey.

Success!
