Try Qantas.co, or Jetstar, or Virgin Blue. Wet season in Darwin during March, expect high humidity, some rain and possibility of storm.
Good Luck, Mike

Wet seasons appear to have become wetter towards the end these days. So far this year rainfall has been poor but if it makes up for it later then we're in for a lot of heavy falls. As far as 'average' goes, January and February are usually the wettest months.

Re things to see/do, as Suzie said, it depends a lot on what interests you. All accommodation places have a booklet they hand out with all that sort of information.

Hello again, Thanks for all replies.

Had a look at VirginB: there R no direct flights between Darwin & Perth. One has 2 fly via MelB / Brisbane Sydney.

Is abt. $330 a cheap rate?
What are the main conditions to B aware for Bluesaver fares?

Also the MelB option showa a 1 hr gap between arr & flight to Perth. Is it possible to make to transit in time? Are checked-in luggage handled for us (ie we do not need to grab bags & re-check in ?)
If our Darwin flight sector is delayed what R our options?

Jetstar: I may B wrong but I do not see any Darwin ->Perth option.

Qantas - also abt $360. What the diff between Red-Eye and Super Saver ?
