Hi

We visited Cala dor with the family last June, enjoyed it so much my wife and I went back in September and we have booked again for this June. This is the nicest Spanish resort that I have stayed in. Don’t expect noisy nightclubs or Benidorm open all hour’s nightlife. There are loads of great restaurants and bars but it's a more relaxed atmosphere. If it's the one I'm thinking of the Esmerelda gardens looks very nice and stands virtually on the Esmeralda beach if that’s any help. There are about 5 beaches. all within a short walk, my favourites were Cala Gran and Cala Dor. Restaurant prices are very reasonable, There is a great Chinese not far from the Esmerelda beach next to the 3 dolphins restaurant. And a very nice place called Mistral. Then there are all the places in the main square. I'm sure you won’t be disappointed with your choice. The Marina is lovely for a stroll around. The Caves of Drach are very close and are worth a visit and we went Scuba diving which was great. Palma and the water parks are about 1 to 1 1/2 hours on the bus but were worth the time. We may hire a car this time and have a look around. the rates seemed very good at the local agencies. Let me know how it go's.

Ian
