Hi Guys

looking for some help re a golfing holiday somewhere in spain for December or early January 2008. i am looking to be based somewhere with perhaps 2 or 3 golf courses within easy reach by taxi and somewhere that has plenty to do for our girlfriends when we are on the courses. ideally we would like somewhere that has a good nightlife and plenty of good restraunts.

perhaps someone knows of a company that specialises in golfing holidays.
any help is much appreciated.

I think that Marbella is your right place, there is plenty of golf courses, and the girls can go to the different street markets that take place along the week, also a excursion to Ronda will be recmendable, even gibraltar althoug it´s a little bit further and not too much to see.
Marbella is also full of shops... hehehe :o)

There are newish courses in Caleta de Velez (Baviera Golf) and Añoreta Golf in Rincon de la Victoria and they're not far from Nerja where I live which is quite Spanish still, but we certainly could not compete with the shopping in Marbella I'm sure! Not sure about the weather for golfing that time of year though-not beinga golfer myself, I haven't a clue, but usually pretty temperamental around that time of year, we do still get holidaymakers on the beach I suppose, but obviously not guaranteed to be sunny.
