Hi,
I was looking at a weekend break to come snowboarding around Lillehammer (Hafjell). I was wondering though wether its best to stay in Lillehammer or Hafjell itself? Is there any nightlife in Hafjell (or Lillehammer for that matter)? If staying is there any transport to Hafjell and if so how often and is it expensive/long to get there? Also I will check into this but can you get to Lillehammer direct from Oslo airport and roughly how much would this cost? Cheers |

depending on when u are going...its not much snow there at the moment ...you will find better snow at hemsedal , rĝldal , voss etc
hafjell has 40 cm, hemsedal has 80cm, rĝldal has 180cm voss fjellandsby has 180cm there is a direct bus from gardemoen to hemsedal in weekends to lillehammer there is a train to rĝldal take the train to oslo then buss to rĝldal to voss take the train to oslo then a train to voss hope you have fun playing in the snow :-) here its windy and its raining cats and dogs
