We wish to travel on the Bernina Express on Monday 21st May from Tirano to St. Moritz. I believe there is a bus from Lugano to Tirano which meets up with the train in Tirano. As we will be on Lake Como for the previous 3 days I need to know if the connecting bus, Lugano to Tirano, stops anywhere on Lake Como and if I can reserve a place on it and what it costs etc. I would be grateful if you would reply to my E Mail address. There is an infrequent bus from Lugano to St.Moritz, but no bus to Tirano (as much as I know). The easiest way would be taking the train to Milan and another train from Milan to Tirano (and then return on the bus from St Moritz to Lugano). For schedules, best you check the Swiss rail web site
www.sbb.ch that includes bus all Italian rail schedules in the region. Enjoy!
