What are the warmest (with least rainfall) months for Waikiki/Oahu travel? I know that every month is warm and beautiful, but I'd like to participate in a number of water sports, so slightly warmer temps would be nice. 70 - 74 degrees is a little too cool for me. I'd prefer 75 - 80 degrees. I'd also like to avoid the rainy season & pack in as much sun as possible. I've looked online, but all I can find are sites with forcaster gobbledegoop. Can anyone teach me a bit about Oahu weather? Much appreciated!

I can tell you that 2006 was a strange year for weather in Hawai`i. It seems that El Nino really changed their typical seasons' playbook. So, you can get whatever info anybody may supply, but, it may not do you much good for the time you are there.
For the temps: I, too, enjoy warmer temps. And my wife finds the January evenings in Hawai`i cool enough to don a sweater. Pick the summer months for highest temps and least rain. Fall and Winter are the rainiest - typically. Here is a link to some more info: http://gohawaii.about.com/cs/travelplanner/ht/when_to_visit.htm
