| Byron Bay | Buying a van or motorhome! Posted: Mon January 8, 2007 02:48 PM UTC
Hello! this is more general question about Australia than Byron Bay, but here it goes my question: I ´ve heard that many tourists buy a van or motorhome, they run the coast for some months, and then they sell it to another tourists. I´m planning something like this, but, how many can it cost? More or less.
Thank you very much!! |

A lot of tourists/backpackers etc buy a cheap van or station wagon to do a tour of Aussie land.
All capital cities have heaps of car lots where there is a variety of used cars. Also there are a number of places that backpackers buy and sell their cars, you will see notices on boards at accommodation places. Just make sure that they are in good condition, remember they have travelled many K's. One company that you could look at is http://www.travellers-autobarn.com/new-design2/sales.shtml
