Distance between terminals 1 and 2 of Beijing Airport

The schedule of my connecting flights are quite close to each other. Can anyone advise me the approximate number of minutes to reach terminal 2 from terminal 1 of Beijing airport? Thanks.

I don't know much about Terminal 1 & 2 but the last time I was there, I had a seamless transfer.
