| Queenstown | Jetboat & White Water Rafting Posted: Sun January 7, 2007 11:57 AM UTC
We're kinda torn between the two. We've not done either before, but wonder if they're similiar.
Is Queenstown the best place in NZ for white water rafting, or will the North island be better? Should we just go for one activity (which one?), or will the combo deal - Jetboat + white water rafting, be better? |

Go the lot, you'll love it. Queenstown is great because you have options. Chopper up the Shotover, whitewater down to the bridge and then the jetboat isn't a bad option.
Up north on the west coast (South Island) there's some great rafting as well and there's plenty more rafting and boating elsewhere. The thing about doing it at Queenstown is the location is just one of the prettiest towns in the world. Cheers, Ian

go for both options if you have the time and $.
else I would recommend the jetboat which is very thrilling and exciting.
