I've been up to coffs harbour before, but never had the opportunity to visit George's Gold Mine. What activities are available at that place in relation to the name of the site? Is it hands on or just look? I'd like to know before February please. Thank you. -Curious

Actually she and I saw it for the first time together. It is a very interesting place really and most people are quite taken with the mine itself. The stamping machine was fascinating and there is a copy of George's old house to be inspected too. It is worth the trip out from Coffs and should take care of half of a day for you. Check out Bernies page and then fill in any gaps by going to the Gold Mine site, by googling George's Gold Mine.
