Taking a trip to Marrakech, Morocco and would like to travel to Spain, specifically over to Ibiza. What is the best way to get from Morocco to Ibiza? I was planning on taking a train from Marrakech to Tangier, then a ferry from Tangier to Gibraltar, then onto Valencia or Javea by train where I can take another ferry to Ibiza. Or is there a plane I can take direct from Marrakech to Ibiza?

For starters it would be better to go from tangier to Algeciras rather than Gib.More ferries, less border hassle. What about ferries from Melilla to Malaga?, although Tangier is easiest to get to from Marrakesh

Marrakech is a hub for discount flights in Morocco, such as Ryanair and Atlas-Blue. I would consider taking a flight to Barcelona or Marseille for 100 to 150 euros, and looking for a way to Ibiza by air or sea from there. The trip you've described is very long, and the transfers between train and ferry add some extra hassle.
