Hello- I work in bronze. We use a few different chemicals to create a black patina.Europeans call it liver of sulphur but we use something called "potash" that is the same compound. There is a product called M-20 that I think is really gun bluing but gives us a dark brown.Off to work-let me know if that helps....Chris

Thank you Chirs ever so much. I appreciate your sharing. However I tried potash but it doesnt give even layer.
For sure Liver of Sulphur seems the best, but we dont have it in our local markets -it is unknown so far, and the producer deny to export it as it is so cheap product.
Will keep trying and keep you well informed as well.
Best of luck.

Have you tried using heat? thin out the potash-has to be fresh-with some water then use a spray bottle to mist an even layer. The metal should be just hot enough where it sizzles when you spritz it.The m-20 is a cold patina formula that you can dip the piece in.

thanks Chris once more.
I use thin sheets. I tried heat, it worked well in the beginning, but it leave a dusty layer of oxide.

Dear Sayed,

Thank you for contacting MisterArt.com.

Due to the extended delivery times and unpredictable duty taxes that occur with international shipments, we do not ship items outside of the U.S. at this time. We are examining the possibility of shipping internationally in the near future.

Unquote.

Thanks Chris
I will keep trying till i can at least know the ingredients of such Liver of Sulphur, if possible.
