Iloilo City Iloilo revisiting

Im Cebuano but migrated to Canada for more than 10 years now. I used to be assigned in my work in Region 6 with Iloilo City as one major project area. My last time in this city was in 1990, and would like to re-visit this wonderful place to relive the lasting memories from way back. How is Iloilo City now compared to the 1990,when i had my last taste of Tatoy's seafood, that TreeHouse near St.Paul's College, the pancit in Molo, my favorite place the open air beer and BBQ's at the Fort San Pedro, the LaPaz batchoy too, and of course chilling out at the plush Amigo Terrace Hotel. Are these places still around in Iloilo City?

I was in Iloilo many times for the past 2 years. The old buildings and ancestral homes are still there.. but I think the change has been more noticeable on the restaurants.

Tatoys is still there but Breakthrough is more preferred now in terms of the restaurants in Villa. Now you can find a lot of new restaurants near mandurriao as well (since its really an effort to go to Villa).c";)

Amigo Terrace Hotel is ok but Sarabia Manor is more grand and plush. They have newly renovated rooms. I just forgot the name of that classy coffeshop in the ground floor of Sarabia, ideal for chilling out. Talking about hotels, for me the best hotel in Iloilo in terms of service and rooms, its Grand Dame Hotel. its value for money and the rooms are really well maintained..

Ted's La Paz is all over iloilo and metro manila since they started branching out. but still we go to one of the original Ted's in la paz market. unbeatable taste.
