I read somewhere on this forum that we need an invitation to enter into Romania,what is this exactly and why? What kind of document can be used for an invitation since I'm sure that a written letter wont be what they need. Can someone please explain this better to me.

If you're a citizen of the US you don't need any invitation or visa (for stays of up to 90 days.)
